About Peduno

Peduno exists so that the substantive work of a lawyer — thinking a matter through, weighing it, arguing it — gets the best tool available, and everything else gets out of the way.
The name
Peduno comes from pedone — the pawn.
The pawn is the only piece on the board that can become something else. It moves one square at a time, it never moves backwards, and if it reaches the last rank it turns into the strongest piece in the game.
That is the attitude the product was built with, and it is also how it behaves. A confirmed action in Peduno never springs back to where it came from: the button you press sets like a chess clock and advances into its working state. A case record moves one square forward when you let it — and not a moment sooner.

The problem
Reading, structuring and summarising hundreds of pages consumes the hours that belong to strategy. It is usually the most experienced people in the firm who sit with an opposing brief late at night — precisely because no detail may be missed.
